Hi, I'm Alex (she/her)! I’m a queer, millennial, southern-raised woman, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My background in performance, dance, yoga, and mindfulness deeply shapes how I work — with a focus on the body, the nervous system, and the layered stories we carry. Whether you’re coming in solo, with a partner, polycule, or family, I bring a trauma-informed, somatic, and attachment-focused approach to support your healing. I weave together modalities like narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you feel more connected, grounded,
and aligned.
In our work together, we’ll slow it way down. We’ll tune into what your body is telling you, explore the relationships that have shaped you, honor what’s already working, and gently untangle what’s not. I will show up with warmth, honesty, and deep respect for your lived experience. I’m not here to fix you — I’m here to walk alongside you as you come home to yourself.
I work with women in communities that are often pushed to the margins, specifically LGBTQIA+ identifying and artists/creatives/performers. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold — it can be a space where you’re deeply seen, held, and supported as you reclaim your truth.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected — from your identity, your body, your community — you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve been doing all the “right” things, showing up, pushing through, trying to hold it all together and still, something feels ... off. Like you're stuck in loops that don’t feel like you. Exhausting patterns. Old survival strategies. It can be hard to tell where to even begin. I work with women who are ready to slow down, tune into their bodies, and live a more confident and pleasure-filled life.
